Myolastan (Tetrazepam)  is a Benzodiazepin used for muscle relaxation – mostly in low back pain.
Current data seem to suggest a risk of – sometimes severe – skin reactions (rashes).

At the moment, the distribution of Myolastan is stopped. The final decision will be made by the authorities of the European Union responsible for drug safety.

At this moment,

1. All patients under treatment with that substance should seek medical advice by their treating physicians.
2. The compound should be replaced by suitable alternatives (which were NOT specified in the warning).

Comment: If you have tolerated Myolastan well before, there is no need to „panic“, However, you should dicsuss this matter with your treating physician ASAP.
